About Me
Deny Gallagher is an experienced producer with a demonstrated history of working in the entertainment industry. In 2019, while working at SiriusXM, he founded Palomino Productions LLC. Under that umbrella, he has worked with talent like Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Rebecca Lobo, author Steve Rushin and Gaslight Anthem drummer Benny Horowitz to create digital enterprises that engage audiences and build community. Skilled in audio production, writing, video production and social media, Deny uses audience engagement and editorial discernment to help brands build loyal audiences. In 2024, he wrote, directed and produced his first feature film "Americano".
In 2017, I suggested to my mentor, Sports Illustrated columnist, Steve Rushin that starting a podcast ahead of the release of his book Stingray Afternoon could only help sales. What followed, was his most successful book launch to date. The audience of the Ball & Chain Podcast that features him and his wife, Rebecca Lobo, has steadily grown over time and has helped sell much of his back catalogue as well. I share this story as an example of my ability to innovate. When I was in college, I did the first podcast independent study at Marquette University because classes in digital audio storytelling didn’t exist. Fast forward to a few years later and a podcasting class is now a core requirement to graduate with a journalism degree.
